Meet Cordell Hayes: BEK News Now Producer, Reporter
From an early age, Cordell exhibited a keen interest in the power of words to captivate, inform, and inspire. Growing up in the heart of North Dakota, he developed a unique perspective on the importance of community and communication, which would later become central to his career as a reporter and presenter.
Cordell's educational journey led him to North Dakota State University (NDSU), where he pursued a degree in broadcast communication. During his time at NDSU, he honed his skills in journalism, learning the ropes of reporting, interviewing, and presenting. His dedication and commitment to the craft earned him recognition among his peers and professors, paving the way for a promising career in the world of news reporting.
Outside the BEK newsroom, Cordell enjoys cooking, running, and traveling.
