UNearthing the CO2 Pipeline exposes how global interests are pushing carbon pipeline projects through rural America, often without landowner consent and with little regard for public safety. One scene in the film recounts a rupture in Mississippi that left an entire town choking for air, a harrowing example of what could happen elsewhere if concerns are ignored.
The addition of UNearthing the CO2 Pipeline builds upon BEK TV’s own investigative series, Capturing America’s Heartland: CO2 Pipeline, which aired 15 original reports over seven months in 2023 and 2024. That series focused on a proposed carbon pipeline route near residential Bismarck and examined safety risks, landowner resistance, and political implications tied to Agenda 2030.
“We are extremely grateful to BEK TV in airing this film,” says Rebecca Terrell, Senior Editor of The New American, a publication of The John Birch Society. “It’s important for people to find out about these projects and what they can do to protect their God-given rights and our nation’s food security.”
“This is not just a Midwest issue,” says Terrell. “Carbon capture pipelines are coming to every state, as we know from the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2022 report announcing 96,000 miles of them to help reach Net Zero goals by 2050. Every American needs to be aware of the agenda behind these boondoggles, and their threat to our private property rights and food supply.”
UNearthing the CO2 Pipeline can be seen on BEK TV throughout North Dakota. To find your local channel, visit the BEK TV Channel Guide.
