BEK Broadens Membership Opportunities & Seeks Individuals to Serve on Nomination Committee
"Seven decades of unwavering commitment to North Dakota stands testimony to BEK Communications Cooperative’s resolve," states Brett Stroh, BEK Board of Directors President. "As we foster representation within District 5 and boost community involvement, we continue our legacy of connection."
District 5, consisting of two regions, east and west, emphasizes the importance of balanced representation. In this regard, the BEK Board is actively pursuing community members from District 5-East, which encapsulates Valley City and neighboring territories, and District 5-West, covering Bismarck, Mandan, and the surrounding vicinities, to be an integral part of the Cooperative’s election process.
"The integrity of our governance is pivotal as BEK forges ahead," says Stroh. "We call upon future members from both areas of District 5 to join the Nomination Committee, tasked with nominating candidates for directorial roles. Nominees will stand for election at the June Annual Meeting."
Nomination Committee Eligibility Criteria:
-Reside within District 5 service area.
-Subscribed to BEK Broadband and/or Phone service for the last two years or have a current two-year agreement.
