Colorado Landowner Takes On Tallgrass Over CO2 Pipeline and Compressor Station
Colorado landowner Carrie Hume joins Trent Loos on Rural Route to expose the hidden dangers of CO2 pipelines and the fight for property rights in rural America. Hume lives just 800 feet from a pipeline in Logan County and 951 feet from a natural gas compressor station built by Tallgrass Energy in 2024. After 22 months of failed negotiations and ongoing chemical odors, she filed a lawsuit against Tallgrass. Hume and Loos also discuss the Summit Carbon Solutions pipeline route, easement violations on the Trailblazer pipeline, a six-month Logan County moratorium, and a massive $105 million donation to Yellowstone Forever.
