A Great Reawakening: Doug Billings on Reclaiming America Through Local Involvement and Patriotism
Billings highlights the progress being made in states like Louisiana, where critical race theory has been banned from schools. He views this as a positive step, asserting that this theory promotes division and victimhood rather than unity.
Billings is particularly encouraged by the increasing number of patriots stepping up to run for and win local government positions, especially on school boards. He sees this as essential to reclaiming the educational system from what he describes as liberal indoctrination. He proudly points out that 14 states have already outlawed critical race theory, which he considers a major victory in the fight for educational reform.
A strong critic of the current administration, Billings accuses Vice President Kamala Harris of deliberately fostering chaos in the country. He is particularly outraged by reports that Facebook, under pressure from Harris and other Democrats, censored content related to COVID-19 and vaccines. For Billings, this represents a serious attack on free speech and individual liberties.
Looking toward the future, Billings expresses hope that when former President Trump returns to office, he will appoint leaders like General Michael Flynn and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to dismantle agencies like the Department of Education and the IRS. He also supports withdrawing the U.S. from international organizations like the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
