TR for Heart and Soul Revisited and Honoring a Legacy at The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame

Dakota Horse Magazine was at TR 4 Heart & Soul’s, (the therapeutic horse-riding program located south of Bismarck) for their annual Blue Jean Black Tie Affair Annual Fundraiser.

On of the interviewees, Grace Peterson is also this week's Dakota Cowboy Student Rodeo Athlete of the Week.

The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame (NDCHF) was established with a conversation between Phil Baird and Evelyn Neuens on Highway 83, between Minot and Bismarck. Phil, who sadly passed away this fall, left a lasting impact on the NDCHF. In today's episode, NDCHF executive director Rick Thompson shares his memories of Phil. We also feature excerpts from Phil's speech at the first induction ceremony in 1998 and his words from 2005 when he presented the Legacy Award to co-founder Evelyn Neuens. Phil himself received this honor in 2016. He is our North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame Hall of Honorees Inductee of the week on Dakota Cowboy.
