National Day of Prayer Returns May 1 with Events Across ND
The annual event will take place on May 1st at eight locations across North Dakota, including a special gathering at the Capitol in Bismarck at noon. The Jorritsmas share how these events will bring people together in unity to pray for our families, schools, churches, businesses, military, media, and government. With so many challenges facing our nation, the need for prayer has never been more urgent. They also explain how folks can get involved locally, whether through attending a gathering or praying with family and friends from home. Later in the episode, Dr. Jake Schmitz joins the discussion to talk about the connection between faith and civic engagement. He urges listeners to take an active role in the political process, vote their values, and stand up for what’s right. This episode is a reminder that spiritual strength and public involvement go hand in hand when it comes to preserving our freedoms.
