74th Annual Meeting in Steele: Plan to Attend June 11th
This year marks the 74th Annual Meeting of BEK Communications Cooperative, and we’re excited to announce a couple of changes!
First, this year’s meeting is going to be held at the Steele Veterans Club:
74th Annual Meeting
Thursday, June 11, 2026
Steele Veterans Club (114 1st St. NW, Steele, ND)
Doors Open 5:30 pm | Meeting 6:00 pm Supper Follows
Please note that this year’s meeting will begin at 6 pm, and supper will follow the conclusion of the meeting.
When you arrive, please make sure to stop at the registration table before finding your seat. Registration helps us ensure an accurate record of attendance and gets you checked in for the evening.
Voting Information
We want to make sure every member has the opportunity to have their vote counted. If you plan to attend the Annual Meeting in person, you will have the opportunity to cast your vote at the meeting.
If you are unable to attend in person, you may vote online using the Voting Information included with your mailed ballot packet by visiting bek.coop/annualmeeting and clicking the VOTE NOW button, or you may use the ballot envelope provided to return your completed ballot by mail. Ballots cannot be dropped off at a BEK office. Your completed ballot must be delivered to the BEK mailbox in Steele no later than June 11, 2026. Don’t wait until the last minute; mail it back as soon as possible to make sure it arrives in time.
As a shareholder in the cooperative, your voice, vote, and presence matter. The Annual Meeting is your opportunity to:
- Hear a full report on BEK’s performance and growth
- Learn about new investments and future initiatives
- Elect board members who will represent your interests
- Vote on issues that directly impact your cooperative services
BEK’s Annual Meeting is not just a meeting, it’s your chance to shape the future of BEK and help guide the direction of services that impact your home, business, and community. The BEK Board of Directors strongly encourages all members to attend in person and make your vote count. BEK was built by its members, for its members, and your participation is the key to keeping our cooperative strong and community-focused.
