Farmers Fight Back Against Global Control and Farming Regulations

Trent and Kelly break down concerns surrounding the New Green Deal, digital ID systems, and how government regulation is rapidly changing agriculture in both the UK and the United States.

Kelly raises serious concerns about the UK’s push toward digital identification and questions why food production infrastructure is being neglected while investments continue flowing into data centers and other industries. The conversation also highlights the shutdown of the UK’s last fertilizer factory and what that could mean for long-term food security and farming independence.

Trent and Kelly compare how farmers are identified and measured in the UK and America, exposing major differences in agricultural reporting systems and how farm populations may be overstated. They also discuss milk pricing, farm size classifications, and the challenges farmers face under growing regulations and economic pressure.

The episode takes a deeper look at animal tagging laws, livestock traceability systems, prion disease concerns, and BSE regulations. Trent questions the science behind some of these controls while Kelly explains how these policies continue to impact producers across Europe. The discussion ends with an important reminder about farm safety following multiple deadly farm equipment accidents reported in the UK.
