Built by Members. Powered by Community. - Why Become a BEK Member?

At BEK Communications Cooperative, we’re more than a service provider – we’re neighbors, friends, and families working together to keep our communities strong. When you become a member, you don’t just get great service, you get a real stake in something local and lasting.

Your Voice Matters As a member-owner, you help guide the future of BEK. You get to vote in Board of Director elections and have a say in the decisions that shape our cooperative. This isn’t just business - it’s your cooperative, and your voice helps lead the way.

Giving Back Where It Counts BEK is proud to invest in the communities we serve. Through scholarships, sponsorships, and grants, we support local organizations, schools, and students who are working toward a brighter future. When the community wins, we all win.

Strong Local Support Our Community Partnership Program (CPP), created by our Board of Directors, focuses on projects that build cooperation, boost participation, support education, and grow local economies. It’s one more way BEK puts community, and members, first.

Built for Members, Not Profits BEK operates for the benefit of its members. We return margins to members through capital credits based on service usage. That means the cooperative is working for you and giving back to you.

Who Can Become a Member? To qualify, you must live in one of BEK’s five districts and subscribe to BEK fiber internet or phone services, including the BEK Connect hosted business phone system. If you meet these requirements and want to enjoy the benefits of membership, sign up today at bek.coop/membership.
