Alex Balaz Talks National Security, Military Service, and His Run for Congress

Balaz shares his unique background, having served in three branches of the U.S. military before retiring and returning home to his family’s farm near Cando, North Dakota. His decision to run for the U.S. House, challenging incumbent Julie Fedorchak for the second time, comes from a deep belief that strong leadership and common-sense values are needed in Washington.

The discussion takes a hard look at America’s military readiness and the growing threats facing the nation. Balaz explains why national defense and border security remain top priorities for him, drawing from his decades of military experience. The conversation also turns to the shocking incident involving a homemade bomb thrown during a protest in New York City, raising serious questions about domestic security and public safety. Balaz and the hosts discuss what events like this mean for the country and why stronger leadership and accountability are critical moving forward.

With firsthand military experience and deep North Dakota roots, Balaz lays out his vision for protecting American freedoms, strengthening national security, and standing up for rural communities.
